I seriously hate Spotify.

Alright...I bought spotify because I actually thought they good give me MUSIC I like. I emailed Spotify a million times about just putting on music that should be FREE and should actually have all the cds and not put cds we cannot play like they toy for us. For instance the "Asking Alexandria" cd. Ive waiting almost a year and paying ten bucks for nothing playing music I don't even like...The music should be the first thing Spotify should care about...If they claim to have music, actually have ALL music or just have the stupid Apps for free because it should be free music anyway. I had to nearly break my bone to contact them and get through the bull stuff they think what are problems are like...Make us scroll through a huge butt page when it has nothing to Contact Spotify. But never mind because they just think of the stuff and post it in there "Support" Page instead of actually hearing out the customer. So do this spotifym delete your crappy page and don't have a whole intire page for support of crap that exceeds fro m you. And ACTUALLY have a Contact Spotify button. I'm offically tired of waiting for you to actually have music that is related to music I would actually like...I listen to Rock and suggest Nicki Minaj? When was she a Rock band? Quit suggesting popular music advertising them for money to people who don't like Justin Bieber or Lil "**bleep**" Wayne. And actually put your money in where your mouth is and actually have ALL MUSIC instead of just taking 10 bucks and not add music you can make money on. Im done Spotify. I'm deactivating my Subsription and moving to Zune...They actually have music and its the same price as Spotify but actually care about music and the customer. And I'll have my family deactivating my Family Subscriptions to because they are getting cheated out of 10 bucks. Goodbye Spotify. Negative help helps you to get better. But I'm done with this crappy App. Have fun.

I'm not quite as po'd yet as the guy above, but getting there. Recently, I signed on and as usual it said you have an update if you want it close and reopen the browser, so I did. Now ALL I see is an entire page of boxes with the title at the top that says: Here's some music that's popular right now. As we get to know you better, you'll start to see suggestions based on the music you like.

If there was a way to click "NO Thank you" so you don't show either that song, artist album, playlist, or that release. So far, the ones I want I already have on my playlist, and the ones I don't I don't EVER want to hear again, the vocal range, instrumentation, and or mixes just DON'T mix well. But just like Facebook and other social media's I've learned I DO NOT want you making the choices for me because I DO NOT fit the mold, and also get quite angry when I have worked hard to have things set up so I can find specific items in the locations I want them set up. Searchable by Artist, Album, Songs, but it would be GREAT if it was by Genre as well. But I agree Nikki is NOT Rock She and Justin are Pop like Britney.

Also I agree forums are great when the community can tell you how to "fix" something like a setting, or troubleshout settings. But there needs to be a contact us form, and if you want feedback in the forum then make sure that is spelled out that way. I went round and round and could not find anything remotely like this except this one. So I'll be surprised if you respond me either.

Hey guys 🙂

Spotify do have direct support via the online contact form which is outlined from the "About Us" page which is in the footer of every page on the Spotify website (although I do agree it could be more obvious!).

Any content that is missing is normally down to the record label or rights holders with holding those tracks from Spotify, sometimes to push up physical and download sales. Unfortunately, since the record labels own the content, it is up to them to add it to Spotify. Spotify has a massive catalogue and say they are adding 10,000 tracks everyday but it is unrealistic for them to ever have all of the worlds music. There is a help page about it here.

i got spotify and it doesnt work you cant play music on it you cant pick the song you want to hear you have to listen to it on shuffle and it doesnt even play the songs in your playlist like whaaaaaaaaa and then you have to pay to listen to music when the app acually does work so it sucks.

Spotify is turbo stupid. Their search engine is just lame. I went to get an artist and her most famous recording and I couldn't find it. It took me 15 minutes to find her and the recording. Also I tried Primium and hoped that I would get better results. NOPE. so I cancelled the primium account. I have more important things to do than fuss with Spotify. If ones taste in music isn't the bubble gum norm then one is SOL. Also Spotify uses a LOT of PUSH recomendations and isn't PULL friendly. So if you know your music Spotify ain't for you
