Problems with logging in

Hello,

I'm having trouble logging in after I reinstalled my OS. The issue is that I don't remember my password, and when I go to the login page and ask for the password to be emailed to me, I get no email. In the app, I tried logging in with what I thought was my password and email, but that ended up reactiviating my facebook account and giving me empty playlists =( I would like some help from an actual employee who could look up my account and solve this giant mess.

Have you tried entering your Spotify username on the reset page instead of your email address? Those emails do commonly get filtered out by spam/junk folders, so be sure to check in those too!

If you are still having issues, you can get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to help you manually recover that account.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
