Friends playlists

Many of my Spotify friends are radio programs and music magazines. Before, I could reach new playlists published by them through. Spotify. But since a while back, no more playlist are published there. But if I click a link on their website I can find a whole new playlist (that I can click subscribe to) but it doesn't turn up on their list. Isn't it still possible to get new playlist automatically turn up on their lists?

When you say lists, are you referring to the playlists shown when you view your friends profiles?

Yes, I mean the only playlists visible when I click the "friends" name.
