Often this is temporary as publishers reorgani their catalogues etc. To stop playback pausing, go to the options setting and select "Hide unavailable tracks".

Songs Not Available?

Dear all,

Suddenly some of my favourite songs are no longer available in my country. They have been in one of my playlists for years and as of this week Spotify won't play them (on all devices I use: Android phone, Windows pc, iMac, Android tablet etc).

Even worse, it doesn't skip the song, no it stops the playing completely. I get the message that "This is track is at the moment not available in your countrey" (in Dutch, this is the translation. Perhaps in English slightly different words). Only after deleting that message it will go on to the next song. Extremely inconvenient.

This is a real show-stopper for me. If Spotify cannot provide me with the music I like all the time, I will stop my subscription (Premium for years). Please ladies and gents from Spotify, solve this problem for me. Or at least explain to me why this is suddenly happening.

With kind regards,

Peter van der Maas
