Hello!

A while ago my friend logged into spotify on my iPhone to play some music, his username is "beherenow" (his name is Tim Gisslen, he's on facebook). When I recently installed spotify on my laptop and tried to log in using my OWN facebook credentials ("Mark Grabois"), I saw all of his playlists and the spotify account page indicated I was logged into Tim's Premium account (beherenow). However my facebook friends were able to follow me as Mark Grabois because the beherenow account is now connected to my facebook account.

Is there a way for you guys to straighten this out? I've heard this happens before, is there a way I can resolve this WITHOUT asking Tim to cancel his Premium subscription to create a new account?

Thanks,

Mark

Tim has disconnected my facebook account from his spotify account and I was able to resubscribe using facebook. I believe the issue has been resolved, however it seems on Tim's profile my name still shows up (Mark Grabois)?

As long as you have disconnected from his account that will correct itself within 24 hours, just takes the servers a little time to catch up the name changes 😉
