&lt;P&gt;Error 408 is generally due to signing in abroad.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you can't change your country through your &lt;A href="https://www.spotify.com/account/overview" target="_self"&gt;account overview&lt;/A&gt;, I suggest you submit an &lt;A href="https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-support/?contact" target="_self"&gt;online contact form&lt;/A&gt;; and someone at Spotify can do it for you.&lt;BR /&gt;If you get an automated reply; make sure to reply to it directly (even if it's from a no reply); and it will be sent to the Spotify staff.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you want to keep the UK catalogue, you can get a premium subscription which allows Spotify to be used abroad indefinately.&lt;/P&gt;
