Payment problems

We are Americans posted in Germany. We do not have a German bank account, or German credit cards. I want to purchase Spotify services, but they will not take my American credit cards or Paypal account as payment. I do have a girocard that I use to purchase items in the German marketplace. Will they accept this as payment? If not, is there another option?

You should be able to subscribe to premium with a US card, setting your country to USA. Have you tried this and did it throw any error messages?

Just to speed things along, you should be able to update your country and enter your payment details for the US from this page:

https://www.spotify.com/account/subscription/change-payment/#change-country

After that is done its just a case of going through the subscription process to get up and running 😉
