Unidays half price for students error

I signed up for Unidays and when i try to get the discount. I go through all of the stages, logging into your account (facebook) and when I get to the final "Enter Your Facebook Password" phase and hit enter. I get a message which reads This feature is currently unavailable. Please try again later." I just want my discounted spotify.

Is your Spotify account registered in the UK?

You can check your country on your online profile.

I've been getting exactly the same message for the last couple of days when I try to get the discount. My Spotify account is definitely registered in the UK. I've contacted UniDays about it and they've said it's a Spotify technical issue but when I contact Spotify I can't get a human to respond to me! Help!

@rcoupland - the credit card currently attached to your account seems to have expired. Try adding a new one from your subscription page and things should then work okay. Your UNiDAYS discount is applied so your payment should be at £4.99 straight away.

Your UNiDAYS discount is on your account as it should be but it looks like there's a problem with your PayPal account. We're not able to see what it is I'm afraid, so check this list of requirements first of all. If everything looks okay, I'd check with PayPal or try using a credit/debit card directly.

My guess is there is some behind the scene negociation which takes place between Student bodies and Spotify, suggest it to your employer 😉

I guess I have to act like I am poor to get one - seeing as most students say they are poor - but can piss it up at the union bar 7 nights a week.

Never mind, Google Music has a few quid off for everyone, so that's a better option 🙂

Really?

Unlimited music for £9.99 a month vs what maybe buying 1 album for that much?

I think it is ridiculously cheap, would happily pay more!

I have had the exact same problem, and as I only cancelled my account 2 months ago I know my card etc is all working.

Strange, its probably best if you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to check out your account for you, see what is going on.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

My spotify payment didn't go through (I've already set up the discounted payment) because I have changed my back account and forgot to switch card details, now I have to resubscribe but when I try to go through Uni Days to re set it up it just says the feature isn't working and when I go to change my bank details it says it's going to charge me the full £9.99 again.

If you could drop the payments team an email directly using the online contact form @Emflo they will be able to assist you with this.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

If so, get in touch with the support team using the link in my post above and they will be able to investigate further.

Registered for Unidays, when I try to complete verification phase the form gets stuck. Not sure what to do - will I be charged full price if I purchase Spotify Premium now? Thanks
