My Question or Issue

There’s been a number of posts regarding the cable that comes with the Car Thing. The USB-c is loose fitting with the device. As a result, the device will not receive power. Fixing this requires using one’s own cable. Whoever is supplying the cable has made an error with the fit it seems.

Thank you for your feedback regarding the Car Thing cable. We've passed thins feedback on to the right folks at Spotify.

Some community members report that in order to use the supplied charging cable you need to push it in a bit harder until the cable clicks.

Came here because I was having the issue of not being able to charge/cable being too loose. Tried pushing it in until it "clicks" and it worked! For anyone attempting, the silver part should not he visible at all when its fully inserted. Took a bit of force, but now it doesnt say "use your provided adapter" and instead opened up the welcome page. Thanks, Alex!
