Wrong Shipment Address

I just ordered the CarThing and once checked out, I realized that the address was still set to my own house as I moved a year ago and had no reason to change the address on my account as I didn't even know it was stored.

Prior to making the order, I was not given any indication of where it would be shipped to so I could not catch the error.

As far as I can see, there is no way to change the address after making the order. (seems like a relatively necessary thing to have...)

Please help!

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

Unfortunately, there is no way for us to change the address after the order has been placed. This is because the shipping process is not handled by us directly, but from UPS.

When you complete the order, UPS Mail Innovations inducts your mail piece into the U.S. Postal Service within 48 hours of processing. The U.S. Postal Service will then deliver the parcel within 3 to 5 days, on average.

Then, the Post Office will attempt to deliver your package twice. If the attempts are not successful, the post office will store the parcel for 2 weeks before it’s returned to the sender.

In this case, we'd recommend contacting UPS directly to see if they can change the information on their side.

My car thing package also went to the right address. The post office was unable to forward it because of the type of package it was. Basically, it was sent inexpensively, as a category of package that cannot be forwarded. I am going to contact Spotify and let them know.

Where does it pull this shipping address from? I used paypal to pay and I had removed this old address and my current address is set to primary, but at order confirmation, it shows it is being shipped to my previous address.

What a janky way to complete an order.
