Hey!

Does anybody know if it's possible to post an unofficial remix of a song on spotify?

From what I have seen most distributors that upload to Spotify do not allow remixes unless you have the rights/permission from the artist.

DistroKid for example:

That is why most artists usually upload to SoundCloud or some other platform because they are unofficial remixes.

this is bullsh...t, i don se any bootleg remixes out on spotify and itunes, this is just a PR stunt, to bullsh..t u into beliveing its a real unoffial remix out there, the same ppl making the orginal that is making THE "unofficial remix" what a scam
