Hi there,

I'm a researcher working at University College London, UK, and I would like to ask a question that maybe you guys would be able to help us with. I work in an auditory neuroscience lab and we are preparing a study on how the human brain processes highly emotional music. For this study we are looking for a search engine that can match songs based on the actual properties of the music, such as tempo, melodic content, instrumentation, timbre etc.

Is anyone aware of an algorithm that is capable of doing that?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks,

Ulrich Pomper
