For me, window gazing songs are when I'm on a bus or in a car. I'll peek out and enjoy the ride with music. To be honest though, the ones that I do listen to when I'm gazing out of a window are ones that either remind me of old days, or just sad songs in general. I'm not sure why though. One of these have to be Avalance by David Cook. I've just recently started hearing this song but it reminds me a lot of what I used to listen to in 2015. It's a good song for me to gaze and think.
https://open.spotify.com/track/7EOQ6hIG3fx3E0USHcsopk
Another one is The Letter by Kehlani. Now, I'm not the biggest fan of many rap artists, but this song speaks to me. It's perfect for me to gaze and think about my family life.
https://open.spotify.com/track/3rGew9pmFEmGD9nZ12F1tN
The last one I'm going to share is In the Middle by Theory of a Deadman. I've been the biggest fan of Theory of a Deadman ever since I was little. This one is a sad one I can gaze out the window with and think about my life in general. No matter what I go through, I'm always in the middle, with anyone, or myself.
https://open.spotify.com/track/45EwHz3yftFiRejSmArrs7

Time for a Music Chat!

Do you ever find you're listening to a song, staring out of the window, a little lost in the moment?

This happens to me often! Maybe i'm easily distracted 😉, but I also think some songs are just perfect 'window gazing' songs. They're easy to get lost in.

You're up high, and you peer down on the tiny road stripes, the flash of traffic, and the rush of people in a crowd. They're late, but you're window gazing.

You're at home, looking out onto an empty street. Not much is happening. Occasionally a few neighbours pull up in their rain splashed cards, and drag in bags of overspilling groceries. They look stressed, but you're window gazing.

You're in your favourite rich smelling coffee shop, window seat (of course). Headphones in, steamed glasses. Your a hand against the glass away from passers by, but at the same time you're miles and miles apart. Your lost in the sweet tunes flickering through your ears and 1 album away from no longer being on time to your next stop of the day. But nothing matters. Because, you're window gazing. And, you've got your window gazing song on.

Are you with me now? If so, i'd love to hear your 'window gazing' songs.

Here's a few of mine:

spotify:track:1NyFRrFiJAJIaR6icj1goI:small
