Volume keeps lowering by itself

So I recently updated my phone and I was listening to music on Spotify and for some reason, every single time I start a song it starts at the actual volume for like a sec and then gets lowered. The bass goes down and everything. I'm not sure what do I've checked all over the settings:/.

This happens to my phone from time to time as well! Have you tried deleting and redownloading the app? That's what I do when my app is causing problems.

I tried reinstalling and it didn't seem to do much :/. So whenever I turn my equalizer off, the sound gets significantly louder but the bass is still no where near the levels from before. I've been through all the settings in my phone and Spotify and can't seem to figure out what's going on. I checked on some older threads and some people used to say there was a sound check option in the settings of your phone, but I can't find that.
