Hi Spotify,

I have seen numerous posts on "Bollywood Albums," but I didn't find any response that addressed this issue (please correct me if I'm missing anything).

I understand, it is the Artist/Copyright Owner's choice to provide their content on Spotify or not; however, given the number of requests on this topic, is Spotify taking any steps at higher level? I shouldn't be raising a request everytime a new album is released. Hope that sounds reasonable.

I'm aware of a few other Spotify competitors that do provide albums/ songs as they are released at same cost.

I would request you to consider this. Hoping to get a positive response and please I'm not expecting same/similar response that has been floating around.

Welcome to the community!

Spotify wants all the world’s music on Spotify, but some artists and tracks are currently not available (or are available in one country and not in another).

Reasons for this vary: Agreements with artists or labels may be ongoing or can’t be reached, or ownership of rights can change hands.

New content is added to Spotify every day. If you can’t find something you’re looking for now, it may appear (or reappear) soon. In the meantime, it might be a good idea to contact the label directly and ask why the music isn't on Spotify!

You can fill out this form to let Spotify staff know of your interest. You might also be interested in supporting this idea, which suggests a simpler method for requesting content missing from Spotify.
