topic Local Files in Content Questions

I opened up the spotify queue on my app to see several songs which are not available on spotify. I have these songs saved in a playlist as youtube uploads, but they are not downloaded as local files at all, and are therefore not in my playlist on spotify. I have absolutely no idea how that could of happened considering they're not even downloaded as MP3's on my computer. Is my account linked to YT in any way? I caught a glimpse of these tracks in the queue as greyed out, and then they mysteriously disappeared.
