The availability of music on Spotify is up to the artists and their music label.

If the music is unavailable, the artist or their music label has likely decided to not make it available in Spotify.

Contacting the artist is a good way to let them know you miss their music in Spotify.

Ok thanks, I'm game so I wrote a note to Ephwurd and asked for the song. They sent me a spotify link (which means it's already there), opened the link to the web interface, and won't let me play it.

Tried to seach for the song (again) in the app, and couldn't find it

Went to 'recently played' in the app and it was listed there, tried to play it, and it won't let me, it skips to another song. Tried on my iPhone, I get to see it, but does not give me an option to play it.

So... What's up?
