Let me put it this way, I hate pop country so much I'm not even going to
play it for a second to "dislike" it. The playlist hasn't even updated with
stuff that I listen to recently, it's still the same playlist that was
generated when I was on a different family account from weeks ago. Not a
single person on my CURRENT family account listens to pop country, period
but more than half of the Home Mix playlist is still Florida Georgia Line,
e.t.c. garbage that was from a user on a previous family account.

I have literally chatted with Spotify about this exact issue, they know
about it and said it may be buggy because it isn't a fully implemented
feature.
Home Mix

I've actually been on support chat with Spotify over this issue but apparently the "Home Mix" feature isn't fully functional or something like that.

Anyway, the my issue with the Home Mix is that it doesn't update often enough, you can't reset it, and you can't just delete it. I used to have on a Spotify family account with a sibling that apparently used to listen to a lot of pop country, and since the Home Mix is populated with selections of music that all users on a family account listen to, the playlist is mostly pop country. I have since removed myself from that Spotify family account and have obtained my own but the Home Mix hasn't changed and still is full of pop country and other artists I would never play. It actually quite frustrating. So it's pretty obvious that the playlist is **bleep** up from being populated from one Spotify Family account then not updating itself according to a new one.

As I stated before, it would be nice to be able to clear the playlist so that it'll generate from music currently played, or at least have the functionality to delete it so's not to have a playlist full of music that makes you cringe.

I wouldn't have made this post if simply listening to music would change
what was in it. Its had the same music in it for weeks, it's why I was
already in a customer service chat for it.

It could also be that you have to wait a couple weeks until the playlist does update itself, i had the same problem once. But now it works, just be patient. 🙂

And okay I dont wanna be rude...but then it is a little bit your problem when you don‘t even want to play it to dislike it. 😕

Not rude, but obtuse. Why would I want to confuse an already buggy playlist
(which Spotify customer service has already acknowledged, I'm tired of
repeating this.) by playing pop country tracks that have never been played
once at all across all accounts on my family account? Sure, I may be able
to dislike or thumbs down or whatever, but I may somehow create some
history of listening to pop country by doing so. It won't even repopulate
with current music that I do listen to, the whole playlist is frozen and
SPOTIFY HAS ACKNOWLEDGED THIS.
