been using Spotify for a few years now and I'm now updating my songs here on Spotify to use with Alexa. I have the songs imported but they are showing grayed out and others that are white. what is the difference? how can I get a song that I took off my CD onto Spotify so that is there in white so when I make an Alexa routine it shows up and able to be found?

Hey @MsLinda

Spotify won't upload those songs to its servers, so Alexa will see them as greyed out tracks. The local files are stored on your computer's hard drive and other devices can't fetch and store these files.

You can sync local files with mobile devices, but Alexa will still not see them, unfortunately.

It is possible to play local files by setting up media servers like Plex.

Have a nice day 🙂
