https://import.spotify.com/rdio/
Have you used this yet? 🙂

Also, if you link to Facebook you can find friends easily, go to 'Activity' (left hand side menu) then you'll see 'People To Follow' on the right, click View All.

For playlists featuring certain artists there is no way to search that I know of. The next best solution is click on the name of an artist you like, click the 'About' tab on their proifle and scroll dlown to 'Discovered On'. This will show you the top 5 playlists they are featured on. Lot's of your favourite artists may also create their own playlists, this shows up on their main page, just scroll down to the bottom 😉

Hi, all. I recently left Rdio (had to leave after their unfortunate demise), and I am looking for some of the same features here. Is it possible to search for and befriend other users? Can I search for playlists that contain certain songs or artists? So far I have not found an easy way to do these things. It is possible to search for playlists, but usually only a few come up - there has to be more. Does anyone have any suggestions for new (ex-Rdio) users? If someone posted "A Guide to Spotify for Ex-Rdio Users" that would be lovel

Thank you for that info. I will try your suggestions.

I hope Spotify, now that it has defeated Rdio, will consider adapting some of the options Rdio offered users.

Happy listening to you
