How are popular songs organized / sorted?

Hi there,

I'm an artist that is just curious as to why / how songs are organized on the main page. For example, why is the top songs only around 1200 listens while the second song is well over 10,000. If they were organized by the number of listens / streams, that would make it easier to understand. As someone who struggles with numbers / stats being in some kind of order, the way my top songs are listed seem to be completely random. Could use some clarification as to how this feature works.

The songs that appear under Popular on a Spotify artist page are ranked based on their number of all-time streams and also how recent those were.
