My Question or Issue

I have information about an artist that has music posted on Spotify. The artist is my father, which had passed away back in 1980. There is presently is no information shown, and thought it would be helpful if I could provide the information I have about him and his photo. Let me know if this is possible, thank you!

To update the artist's info on Spotify, the label/distributor or the person in charge of your father's profile must do it from the respective artist account. You can get in touch with them so they can update the info on the platform.

We're afraid we don't have that info. When content is uploaded to Spotify, it is done by someone who created a Spotify Artist account - it can be the artists themselves, the record label or distributor, or maybe the manager or representative. You can find more info on how it works here.

You could reach out to the record label for more info if you're not sure who to contact or where to start.
