What's the point of these increasingly stacking Single releases?

This question is just out of curiosity.

One thing I've noticed for a while now is that many artists release Singles for an upcoming Album in a "stacking" fashion. That is, instead of a single song per release, the singles include the previously released singles as well. Take a look at Gojira:

This causes a ton of repetition and clutters up the catalog quite a bit, so I'm honestly at a loss trying to understand what the point of this is. All for a few more streams?

Thanks for reaching out in the Community about this.

Artists are in charge of how singles/albums are released and displayed in their Artist profile.

Some artists upload singles in this manner in order to gain more visibility for their other tracks or an upcoming Album/EP release.

If you feel like there is a mistake in the naming/content for an album or a single you can always report it like this:

Choose Report a broken track/album.
