Copy/Cut n Paste Option Removed. Why??

Among my multiple gripes with the new Spotify layout/function I'm really lost as for why they've removed the copy or cut n paste function? (cmd+C, cmd+V etc).

If I have a playlist of 2000+ songs and want to move a song say from the bottom to the very top of the playlist am I seriously expected to click and hold the track/s and watch the list slowly scroll until I reach the top to place the track/s down? Really??

Am I really only able to manage giant playlists with this slow, clunky solution?

This new platform has so many user related flaws that just make it a displeasure to use compared to its previous form.

Could you restart the device and then log and log back in again to check if anything changes?

In case that doesn't make a difference, you can give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall. This one is more thorough than the usual one.
