Hi there - does anyone know when live lyrics will be available in the UK? Apple Music has had this feature for some time now. I have a premium account and use both the Windows and Mac apps. Thanks.

The lyrics feature is still being tested out and it's not available on all accounts or areas. For now, you can view the lyrics following these steps.

That’s cool and all, but why can’t they test lyrics in the UK? Or test them world wide and have people op out of the option of beta testing them?

Hi @MateusM - thanks so much for replying and sorry it's taken me so long to acknowledge this. Still can’t get the lyrics to show up and have tested it with a number of songs some of which would be expected to have lyrics as they are so well known. I guess you're referring to listening on my phone which is an iPhone but an early model (iPhone 6) which doesn’t support IOS beyond IOS12 so maybe that's the problem i.e. I need to have IOS 13? Also I can’t see any lyrics when listening on my PC using the downloaded app – is this because the lyrics function only works on a mobile or tablet? I tried on my MacBook which has the latest Big Sur update but can’t get any joy there either. Thanks again for trying to help – much appreciated.

The reason why you can't see lyrics even testing with several songs is that lyrics aren't available worldwide yet.

So, if you still can't see lyrics available on your Spotify app, probably you're in an area where lyrics aren't still available.
