HOSPITAL WARD ACCESS

I work in a public hospital (psychiatric inpatient) and would love to be able to have a generic account for our ward to access. Does Spotify do this? Patients aren’t allowed leave from the ward due to covid currently and long termers can get quite bored. Music is an escape for many of them. I’ve also been looking at Mighty players with interest, as can load Spotify tracks on them and doesn’t require Internet.

As laid out in the Terms and Conditions, Spotify is only for personal, non-commercial use.

This means you can’t broadcast or play Spotify publicly from a business, such as bars, restaurants, schools, stores, salons, dance studios, radio stations, etc.

To play in a commercial environment, I'd recommend checking out Soundtrack Your Brand.

Appreciate your response. Not looking to do it commercially? ie not to
play for entire ward. It’s to play on individual personal devices.

I’ve checked out the service you recommended and unfortunately it’s well
outside the budget for a public hospital ward.

In that case, they could sign up for Spotify on their individual devices.

There shouldn't be any issues with that as long as each individual has got their own account.
