Is there a true radio station type functionality?

Does Spotify functionality to create on going radio station that evolves as you like and dislike tracks? Spotify Stations are just playlists, which play the same songs over and over. I tried making an artist station and again, it's just a 50 song playlist that plays the same songs over and over. Kind of misleading to call something stations and radio IMO. I understand that Pandora has the best algorithm in the streaming industry, but why doesn't Spotify have something that present me with similar, but different music every time I listen?

Thanks for the post.

The Radio function creates an endless playlist of songs based on the song/ playlist/ artist you start the radio from, your music preferences, and what is most popular with other users who listen to similar music. It shows 50 tracks as that is the display limit of the queue.

To get more variety in your recommendations we'd recommend listening to music via the search option and disabling Private Session. Also if you listen to music only from recommendation mixes, such as Daily Mix etc. this won't influence your music recommendation algorithm.
