What happens to your playlist when a song becomes unavailable?

I have over a thousand tracks on my Spotify "Liked Songs" list.

I'm proud of my collection.

But what happens if a song become unavailable, does it disappear from my liked list or does it just grey out?

If it just greys out it's OK, because I'll know what's missing and so I can find another copy. But if it disappears I'll be very frustrated because I don't know what I've lost.

Hey @mrmarkendley

What happens depends on the setting and also which device you're viewing the playlist from.

On desktop and mobile you have the option to toggle hide/show unavailable songs. Enable the setting and all songs that are unavailable will show up looking unmistakably grey.

On devices without that setting, it will show unavailable songs in your music by default.

Basically - it greys out; visibility depends on your settings. : )
