My friends can't see in friend activity what songs i'm listening too?

Hey guys:), so basically my friends can never see what i;m listenin too like it doesn't come up in friend activity, like ever (over a year). I have a macbook! thanks!

Hi, did you enable "Share my listening activity on Spotify" in your settings? Otherwise others can´t see what you are listening to.

They changed the way the listening activity works in the end of 2021 i think, so from there on you had to manually allow others to see your listening activity in the settings. Maybe the solution is that simple, if thats not the case you might want to contact the customer support. I am sure they will be able to help you out with your issue.

As @adrian_oechsner mentioned, please be sure the 'Share my recent listening activity on Spotify' toggle is turned on within your Spotify app settings.
