For the past couple of years I’ve curated my listening so that I have had the BEST Discover Weekly playlists that would always deliver amazing new music that perfectly suited my tastes…until recently 😱. I had a friend’s wedding where they wanted me to put together some playlists of classic wedding songs (not at all my usual taste) and because I’ve been playing all this old classic music in my Spotify account it has now changed my Discover Weekly so that it is full of Stealers Wheel and Billy Joel and George Michael all this basic triple A music. Is there anyway I can dislike certain songs when they come in a Discover Weekly playlist so that I start getting the kind of music I like again?

Premium Plan, Australia

After you press the 3 dots on that particular playlist, you can choose for “Exclude from my taste profile”. You can read more about it in this article.

If you've already deleted the playlist, you can bring it back through the Recover playlist page.

I hope this helps.
