Spotify is the BEST on the market for customizing MUSIC and Podcast lists for easy access. However, Spotify should incorporate the SAME wide open, choose-your-own for our NEWS sources. No matter where a user navigates or tries to customize NEWS like we can MUSIC, Spotify makes the defaults for ALL news sources their preferred left-leaning selections. I’ve blogged about this a few times the last few years, but no response or any action has been taken to make NEWS selection a truly OBJECTIVE process. Just like your music, there should be NO default built in for NEWS, it should be left up to the user, as is available in other platforms. It’s the primary reason I plan to look for another platform.
