Daily Drive keeps listing dead podcast

Love the Daily Drive but every weekend it tries to play the final episode of a podcast which shut down in May. (Vice News Reports)

Really irritating. Surely someone can delete the dead podcast off the list of ones used for this playlist?

This is happening to me too, with the "The Times: Essential news from the L.A. Times" podcast. The "goodbye" credits episode shows up every afternoon even though I've listened to it a bunch of times. No new episodes in months. The playlist is broken for me as a result.

I'm having the same issue with the goodbye podcast of the LA Times podcast! Infuriating! Why is Spotify so popular but provides absolutely no customer service?

Same issue here and it's the LA Times podcast others have mentioned.

I've been using Daily Drive since the beginning and have weathered the growing pains. But... there used to be a settings icon within the playlist itself that allowed me to pick and choose podcasts. That ability seems to have been removed at some point and I've hit my limit with Gustavo Arellano's Goodbye to the point where I just can't deal with the Daily Drive playlist anymore because I know it's coming and I can't skip it when I get there (I have to fast forward in 10 second increments... also what's that all about? Why can't I skip a whole podcast?).

Any solution would be fantastic, even just bringing back the settings option.

The LA Times podcast is driving me insane. Please let us delete/block inactive podcasts from showing in My Drive playlist.

My daily drive app (Australia) has been playing the same final episode of a now cancelled podcast - The Scorecard - since the 2nd of March!! Is there any way to change the podcast in the playlist?

Me too for the dumb sports podcast. Pretty sure publishers are paying to be included in daily drive and it's breaking when podcasts end.

I'm based in Australia. The Daily Drive curated podcasts include "The Scorecard Daily Sports News" which hasn't been updated since March 2024 since the series ended, but the podcast is still on the Daily Drive. As a result each time the Daily Drive playlist proceeds to this podcast it plays the same final episode on every Daily Drive playlist. Could you please remove this podcast from the playlist?

bei der DailyDrive Playlist in Spotify wird seit längerem immer die gleiche Folge von einem Podcast eingestellt, von dem keine neuen Folgen mwhr erscheinen. Ist es möglich zu erreichen, das so etwas nicht mehr passiert?
