What happened to the "daylist" playlist?

There used to be a playlist (called "daylist" by Spotify - https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1EP6YuccBxUcC1?si=5cd54e031d2346a2&nd=1) that changed regularly throughout the day to give you songs that the algorithm thought you would like at that time of day + week. E.g. "happy poppy Monday morning".

But ever since a few months ago, that playlist has disappeared. Well, sort of. Sometimes it pops back into existence for a few hours every other day or so (almost as if there's a rogue cronjob answering my prayers)!

I would LOVE for this playlist to come back permanently... it's essentially Discover Weekly, but multiple times a day. As someone who listens to 4+ hours of music a day, this extra content was so refreshing and nice.

Thanks for the response Dian. To clarify, what new feature/change are you actually testing here? Is the intention to remove the daylist playlist? If so, what's the motivation there?

I also get the daylist in my list of playlists, but it only shows up every now and then. I would be fine with losing DJ X if I could have this daylist back.

Is it gone again? I can't seem to find it. I get page not found I click on the daylist link inside the link you provided. Also following the directions they gave do not seem to work (On desktop and web, simply search “daylist”) Nothing was found doing so. Anyone find a fix?

I currently get this message in the desktop app after clicking on the daylist link, as I am located in Germany:

The web player only displays a message that the page is not found:

If you are in a country where it should be available, but it isn't for you, it might have to do with test rollouts etc.

I have a daylist but has been the same ever since it came out, so it doesn't function properly, anyone know how to fix this?

Hey there folks,

We'd like to confirm that the Daylist is in fact available, but only in select markets for the moment. You can see which markets those are in the Newsroom article as posted by @hans-jürgen.

Be advised that this feature is still being rolled out, so some things remain to be fully fleshed out. If you're in one of the applicable markets and don't have it yet and/or are facing issues with it, consider logging out and back in twice in a row to force a re-sync in the system, that should help. Also make sure your app is up-to-date in order to benefit from all the latest features.

Hope this clears things up. If you have any questions or specific issues, don't hesitate to reach out.

Daylist wont update

My day list wont update its been the same for the past two weeks even though i listen to music daily, and before it stopped updating the day list would be completely inaccurate like i would spend the day listening to rock music but my day list would be full of city pop. i tried clearing cache and reinstalling. i have premium and the lastest update of the app

Why does my daylist fill itself with songs I DO NOT listen to?

Daylist will make a playlist of stuff I have never listened to at that time of day, I just went to put it on at 9:07 am and it’s all piano fall asleep easy kind of music, which the only times I listen to is the odd time trying to fall asleep at night, nowhere near 9 am
