I had a song that I couldn't remember the name of on one of the spotify created playlist. So I took the following steps 1) requested data, 2) determined the time period in which I certainly listened to the song, 3) looked song by song.

The song isn't showing up, however there are several instances of "unknown artist, Unknown Track" Could this be the missing song?

Thanks for the post.

If the artist/ song or album in question has been removed from the Spotify library it will appear as "Unknown artist, Unknown track" in the requested datasheet. Sometimes content from the Spotify catalog gets removed due to licensing issues. This is most likely what has happened in this case and that's why you can't find the exact song that you've been listening to in that period.
