Purchased audiobooks towards 15 hours

I wasn’t sure if I purchase an audiobook if this will use up the allotted 15 hours of monthly listening or if only books included in the premium plan use those hours. I want to buy a book but am not sure if it would be worth it if I can only listen for 15 hours a month.

Don't worry - if you purchase an audiobook you can listen to it as much as you like. More info here.

How do I purchase an audiobook as a premium member? My only option is "top up" hours...

Welcome to the Community!

We just want to mention that Audiobooks can either be included in the Premium plan or available as a one time purchase. If the audiobook is available through our catalog for Premium users, you can only top up the listening time, but won't be able to purchase it.

What is the thought process behind it being that way? If anything, wouldn’t you make it available to premium users to purchase but non premium only gets 15 hrs?

Hi @Ivelina,

I am unable to purchase a book. I am a premium user and when I log out, I have the option to purchase the book. Trying to purchase the audiobook however, I am prompted to sign in, where then I am only allowed to listen to the book with more listening hours. I would like to purchase the book outright so I can listen at my pleasing.

Why does it look like I can purchase the book when I can not when I log in?

I have tried following prompts here however am unable to locate the purchase button: Purchase Audiobooks - Spotify

Please help!

Would you mind sending over the link to this audiobook, along with a screenshot of what you see when you try to purchase it?

Also, keep in mind that if you're a member of a Family or Duo plan, it's expected that you won't be able to access Audiobooks as the listening time is currently not available for members.
