My Question or Issue

I was searching up “amour plastique,”and i found another version, by “ImXgie,” I decided to listen to it, and out of curiosity, I checked the song credits, and found out they didn’t even credit the people who wrote the song, instead putting “Beni Grailz” who, in fact, did not write amour plastique. Adèle Castillon, Matthieu Reynaud, and Esteban CAPRON wrote it. I might just be making a fuss over this for nothing, but I was just wondering if this was allowed since it was ever so slightly slowed down.

Hey @veliomoure,

Thanks for reaching out.

Spotify publishes the content the way they receive it, this also applies to song credits. So, in this case, you'd have to reach out to the artist/label/publisher of the content so that they can send an update to Spotify. 🙂

Hope this helps!

I had the same problem with the album "Urban Observer" by DDT.

DDT was a Canadian band fronted by Brian Howes and Cory White, but the songwriting credits are for an American band of the same name (Luther Dickinson, Cody Dickinson, Paul Taylor...)

Universal Music Publishing Group has the correct credits on their website (Brian Howes, etc.)

I also contacted another provider about this mistake, and they said they'd forward the request to Warner Music (the label that released the album).

https://open.spotify.com/album/7H2xrV0Htd1fNndLHsCNQ5

https://www.umusicpub.com/us/Digital-Music-Library/album/41326/urban-observer-
