Spotify Time Capsule is broken since a new person joined the family plan.

I haven't listened to any of these songs and I am pretty sure it's the music taste of this new 5th member. I don't like 95% of german music, but it's all german. How do I reset this?

Thanks for reaching out on the Community!

The recommendations and playlists created for you are based on the whole listening history of your account, and your location may also have some influence. The playlists that are created for you, like Your Time Capsule, can't be reset. However, with time, the recommendations should be adjusted to your history. Our algorithm will slowly catch up with your music taste and prepare the best made just for you playlists on a regular basis.

Also, since you mentioned that this began happening after a new family member joined the plan, we recommend checking so that you're logged in to your own Spotify accounts. You can both either manually sign out from each device you're using the app on, or sign out from all devices at once by heading over to the account page > Sign out everywhere.

Once you log back in again, make sure to enter you login details manually, as this will resync your account info.

I just logged out everywhere and logged back in. The issue was not fixed. It's not possible that this person is signed into my account, since they don't have my credentials. Also it wouldn't make sense that their music taste immediately overwrote my entire time capsule, since I've been using Spotify for at least 5-6 years now. Normally I could say that a generated playlist of spotify is just bad, but time capsule is supposed to only contain songs that I like/have listened to. Most of the songs in there I've never heard in my life. I've used Time Capsule before this person joined the family plan and it just changed EVERY single song since they joined.

We understand where you're coming from and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us. Keep in mind that in Your Time Capsule there might be songs you're familiar with, but it can contain other songs that you haven't listened to on Spotify, and were popular back then so the algorithm thinks you could enjoy them as suggestions.

In this case, as @Maria recommended above, make sure to continue listening to your favorite tunes so the playlist can update regularly and include more songs that you like. Also, you can find more info about Your Time Capsule here.

My question is, can you reset this thing? Because it is very clear that I generally do not like german rap. I don't like any of the songs in my time capsule. I know for a fact that the time capsule contained completely different songs before this member joined, because I listened to it quite often. There is a chance of 0 that this person is logged into my account, nor am I logged into his. He doesn't have my credentials, I don't have his. I still did what @Maria suggested though.

If I was using Spotify for free, sure, I'm not paying so I can't expect anything, but I've been paying for around 5-6 years now. The standard rate until a few months ago.
