Add button to "stop when current selection ends"

I often get a song in my head and want to hear it -- and just it. I can not find a way to play a single song. I've seen requests to add the ability going back years so it is apparent that Spotify isn't interested in adding this.

I realized that another thing I wish was in the app would help this situation: A button to stop after the current song. I like songs to finish before I stop listening but I don't like having to hover over the stop button to make sure another song doesn't start. I'd really appreciate a button that would stop after the current selection finishes.

Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community. We moved your post from the Ideas board to the relevant Help board, where it fits better.

No worries, if you want to listen to only one song or album, you just need to deactive the Autoplay feature. You can search for a song or an album for example in Search and the playback will stop once the song or the album ends.
