Lyrics aren't synced to the song yet Spotify Desktop

My Question or Issue

Hi guys, don't know if this only me or others have same problem with me. Just updated the app from v1.2.25.xxx to v1.2.36.955 because after restart the lyrics dropdown is missing from every song.

But now, after updated the lyrics is there but only few and it said "These Lyrics aren't synced to the song yet." to every songs that has lyrics. Before this every lyrics works fine.

Any idea how to fix it or who's problem is this? Spotify, Musixmatch or me. Thanks

Thanks for reaching out. Could you please provide us the following:

Is this on all devices or only on Windows? What about the webplayer?
Are all songs not synchronized anymore or only select ones?
Do all have the disclaimer at the top that these aren't synced?
Could you log in with a different account on your devices and see if that makes a difference? You can use the account of someone you know or make one yourself.

With this information, we’d be happy to investigate.

Lemme answer it one by one :

On my laptop it yes, on webplayer make me confused. There is no Lyrics Button on webplayer. I'll attach screenshot below.
Like I said before, all songs that has lyrics are not synced with the lyrics. Screenshot attached below.
Yes, the disclaimer are on all the lyrics tab. All said "These Lyrics aren't synced to the song yet."
I'll try later, because i don't have someone around me that has spotify acc.

Bruh, the captcha wont let me reply. It was keep spinning from yesterday.

i think you guys messed up with lyrics or something. because its not only on desktop but on the mobile app too. i read thread people complaining about this kinda problem with lyrics on the mobile app.

Just to confirm, are you still experiencing the same behavior with lyrics in the app? Is it both on mobile and desktop?

Owh you guys left me out here. Yes it's still at least on desktop. I don't know with mobile, I didn't use it for almost a month. I updated to desktop version (32 bit) 1.2.38.720. I attached screenshot.

We had a look at the screenshots you sent over and it looks like you might not be running the latest app version released by Spotify. To guarantee the app performance and for safety reasons, we recommend always using the latest official version of the app.

You can make sure that you're running the last version with a clean reinstall. Just follow the steps here.

The same is happening to me, all songs which have lyrics still have them, but they also have the message "Lyrics aren't synced to the song yet". This is happening to all of them, I am running the latest spotify version on Windows 11 and it is happening on all devices and different accounts.

Nah, i think this is because you guys remove lyrics feature from free plan user. That's it.
