How to listen to audiobooks in a different language

My Question or Issue

My Spotify account is based in the USA though I am learning Swedish and would like to listen to audiobooks in Swedish. Searching for a book in Swedish doesn't yield good results. I have found a few kids novels, but not much to challenge my listening or that I find very interesting. Is there a way to find audiobooks in a certain category that are in a specific language, Swedish in my case, or some way to change the language of the audiobooks?

Im in the us and all my settings are set in English. But ALL of my audiobooks are in German. There doesn't appear to be a language setting for the books, so how do i change it to English. And don't give me that region excuse and im not rerouting or using a VPN.

to access my account and when i went to audiobooks they were in English

How to switch audiobooks to english i only see dutch ones.

Just started listening to audiobooks on Spotify, have a Premium/Family subscription.

I have only listened to or added to my library books in English to date.

Searching for the next Andy Weir audiobook by author, title or author and title and I get results in 4 languages, 2 different German versions, just not English.
opening open.Spotify.com just took me to the already-open app, same results.

I have exactly the same problem Audio Books are in German. But the language is set to English. How do I fix this problem?

There's currently no way to change the language of Audiobooks. We appreciate you taking the time to share your comments with us, though.

You can have a look in our Idea Exchange to see if someone else has already made a similar suggestion. If there isn't one, you can submit your own idea so that other users can also support it. The higher the number of votes an idea gets, the more likely it is for it to be implemented.

There are Spotify audiobooks available in languages other than English, but Spotify does not provide a way to search for books in a given language; one has to search for every author or title one at a time hoping to get a hit. This is a serious deficiency. I wish the powers that be would take the simple steps to implement a search screen that shows books in a specified language. It would be a tremendous improvement for many of us.

Nope, I’m afraid not! Got the other two on a better known audiobook platform starting with A. They also have Artemis.

It’s really sad that you can’t search within a certain language or set your language preference. How basic of a feature is that??

I live in the Netherlands, I don’t speak Dutch. I would love to get my audiobooks in English but I can’t find the place to change the setting. How to I get English speaking content? I tried changing the language in my IPhone but it also doesn’t work.

I do live in Belgium but the audiobooks i get presented are or in french or in dutch. I can´t select the english versions of the same book.

I'm from Belgium so the audiobooks appear in Dutch and French. However I always read and listen to books in English.
Is there a way to change the default language so that I see English audiobooks?
Or is there a way to see them besides the other language?

It's currently not possible to change the language of Audiobook suggestions. However, other users also think this would be a good idea. If you'd like to see this in the future, you can add your vote here.
