I noticed that some albums may not have accurate release dates listed on the bottom. For example, Linkin Park’s Hybrid Theory album was released October 24, 2000 but is listed as being released on January 1, 2000 on this app. I am curious why you would specifically note a date that is incorrect? I would rather just see the year rather than unverified information. I’m sorry, I know this may turn out to be tenuous work for a team somewhere in the backend but, history should be represented factually whenever possible.

Two years later, and Spotify is still having this same exact problem. They’re still showing inaccurate dates with “January 1st”. Interesting how Spotify is the only streaming service that has this problem, especially for years now. lol.
