By doing that, the app can be up-to-date, and you can make sure the cache is not leading to this issue. You can follow &lt;A href="https://community.spotify.com/t5/FAQs/How-can-I-perform-a-clean-reinstall-of-the-app/ta-p/4746485" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;these steps&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/A&gt; to do it.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Just to clarify, what did you mean when you mentioned you added a third party subscription to a podcast? Did you mean a &lt;A href="https://support.spotify.com/article/podcast-paid-subscriptions/" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;podcast paid subscription&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/A&gt;? It'd be awesome if you could add more details.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>podcast startpage broken -  'something went wrong'</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Plan - Premium, Country - Austria, Device - not device related, Operating System - not OS related&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My Question or Issue&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;for an unknown reason, I can no longer access the start page for podcasts. It just says 'something went wrong' (see attachment). The underlying page is &lt;A href="https://open.spotify.com/home?facet=podcasts-chip" target="_blank"&gt;https://open.spotify.com/home?facet=podcasts-chip&lt;/A&gt; which I obviously can't access. On browser, it shows the error message, on android app it shows nothing, just a blank screen. The two other categories "all" and "music" are fully accessible.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This issue happens on every OS and on every app and independent from network I use. I have created a test Spotify account which does not show this behaviour, also independent from OS and app or browser. This is why I'm pretty sure there is something broken on server side.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Spotify support was not able to help, they just asked me to change the network and reboot the device. I also removed all my podcasts, hoping to force the server to rebuild the page, but that didn't help either.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any ideas?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have been having the same issue on the Android app for the last couple days, maybe just the last day. The podcast tab won't load, music and all work fine.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For what it's worth, the windows app works fine for me as well as the browser, it's just the Android app I'm having trouble with.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm trying to think of what it might be, because my wife's Android app works fine.. but I did recently add a third party subscription to a podcast from the New York times to my Spotify.. I can imagine that would add an extra failure point, but just a theory..&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Having the same issue, podcast home tab on my android app doesn't populate, but the music and audiobooks tabs do. Have tried everything as well - clear data/cache, clean reinstall, restarted my phone, etc but no luck. Bummed since I use the tab regularly.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Since yesterday evening, the podcast tab has been fully displayed again. I just tested it and it works again on all my devices (browser and app on notebook, Android phone, Android tablet). I didn't have to do anything for it, the problem has obviously been fixed by Spotify. At least that applies to my account. Thank you for your comments.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
