As of now, there is no such feature to restrict a certain genre from appearing in-app. However, your suggestions depend on your listening activity. As you listen to more content Spotify will learn and update the recommendations.

Note that there is no way to alter your listening history. If you want to start fresh, you can manually create a new account and transfer your library. You can also get in touch with Spotify support over chat here. They might be able to help you with an account transfer.

There are two features that you can use to disable your further listening from affecting the recommendations. Please check out these articles to know more about the same:

Ascolto solo hip hop e amo come spotify crea dailymix per me, ogni tanto però vorrei variare genere ma senza che l algoritmo cambi i miei gusti e preferenze, propongo una "navigazione in incognito" così da poter ascoltare musica nuova senza che questa influenzi i suggerimenti del mio genere preferito..
