Discovery Weekly recommending only a genre I never listen to... is my account hacked?

My Question or Issue

Hello Spotify Community. When I checked my Discover Weekly playlist yesterday, to my surprise it was at least 75% lofi music. I haven't listened to lofi in many years, so it's so inaccurate I can only come to 2 conclusions. I am wondering if this is an algorithm issue, or if someone is hacking into my premium account to listen to ad-free lofi, and perhaps they may do something else. I'll change my password now, but is there anything else I should do or ways I could tell if my account was hacked?

I totally understand your concern. Since there’s no way to see which devices you're currently logged into, a good step is to head to your Account settings and choose Sign out everywhere. Then, log in again and reset your password using this link.

Also, take a moment to check your connected third-party apps and remove any that might have access you don’t recognize or need.
