My Question or Issue

When I first signed up for Premium, I would play an album and when it ended, Spotify would continue to play that artist and others in the same genre. Now it just plays the album over and over on a loop. How can I go back to the first way?

Got it! Let’s try a few things. First, check the Now Playing view and see if the Repeat button is turned on — that could be why the album keeps looping.

If it’s not enabled, take a look at your Autoplay setting and make sure it’s turned on. That helps keep the music going once your current playlist ends.

If neither of those seems to be the issue, I’d suggest doing a clean reinstall of the app. That clears out any old data or cache that might be causing strange behavior and gives you a fresh start.
