Why am I getting American adverts when I am a premium user in the UK?

Not sure why this is happening lately but I'll be listening to a podcast and on top of the sponsored as reads from the hosts I have started getting adverts for Factor and Mint Mobile. I am in the UK. These are not relevant to me and shouldn't be getting adverts when I am paying for the premium version

Thanks for reaching out!

While Spotify Premium doesn't play ads that interrupt the music listening experience, it's up to the podcasters to decide whether or not they're going to have advertisements on their content. These ads can either be integrated within the episode itself or inserted as additional ads outside of it.

Note that the language and region of these ads should reflect the country you are in. If you're getting American ones while you're in the UK, this should get looked into.
