If I made a rap track about a sport like basketball but had all the lyrics generated by AI and the song is sung by AI could I upload it to Spotify?

It hasn't been ok, there have been battles between labor and the corporations at every step of the way. Automation in many of these factories has lead to mass layoffs, high unemployment, homelessness, and the destruction of entire communities. How was ANY of that ok?

And now AI is starting that process all over again, though this time they're going to kill off entire countries, not just communities. Definitely NOT ok.

It's actually a very accurate comparison, just look at the damage automation did to the job market, now expand that 100 fold and you have the potential harm that AI can cause if not reigned in immediately.

People get hired to work on the AI machines, too. They also go to school to learn that skill. And get paid for it.
And yeah factories could absolutely be considered built on theft when they make billions of dollars off the backs of those employees who make thousands.

And I suppose you're talking about automated things making music being a crime while using a music keyboard that can literally do all the work for you just by pressing a few buttons while also having any sound imaginable, or the DAW that automatically fixes timing, or the auto-tune, or the drum loops, or the samples, or the 400 presets, or let's go on to the other AI that you're logged into right now: Spotify. It literally has an AI DJ that does all the song picking for you. No need to listen to the radio with that. But eh, all the algorithms and trainings are only evil when it's convenient. This isn't me sticking up for AI song making. It's me telling you that you use things that have stolen other things from other people all the time with no remorse while you enjoy its entertainment, ease of use, or luxury. Welcome to the club you didn't know you were already in.

This is like saying Photoshop stole artists pictures and turned it in to Photoshop slop. AI like Suno is a tool, Not everyone knows how to create music or use tools like FL studio that cost Hundreds of dollars. Its also akin to saying Dj's that use other Artists music in clubs, recordings, festivals and such is also taking the right away from the Original artist. Granted, AI does not always get it right, I believe if someone uploads " AI slop" and states its made with AI, that is fair... what i DON'T believe in is someone making an AI song or video of other people and claiming its real.

@Echo0Ne What's different between some individuals and AI, scale, don't get me wrong, theft is theft, but the individual might steal a couple hundred, maybe thousands of dollars worth of copywritten material, but AI, AI has stolen TRILLIANS of dollars worth of copywritten material, essentially ALL of the material.

Remember the whole "you wouldn't steal a car" anti-piracy campaign from the late 90's/early 2000's, back when they used to bash down grandmothers doors because little Timmy pirated the latest Tupac CD, where's all that hate now when AI companies are literally using the same technology (P2P networks, Torrents, etc) to steal every single track ever created in human history?

But as the governments are prone to do; a father who steals a loaf of bread to feed his family might serve 3 years in a shithole prison, a company that defrauds pensioners of billions of dollars might serve 6 months home arrest or an all expense paid vacation in a country club of a prison.

AI = Theft, using AI = Receipt of stolen goods.

PS: Spotify is jam packed with "artists" made entirely of AI slop that they claim are made by real humans, some have detailed fake backstories, fake photos, and a few even have fake videos of fake performances.
