Hey there @aenm,

Thanks for reaching out!

Keep in mind that since Release Radar is a personalized playlist created just for each user, it’s not officially supported to follow or view other people’s Release Radars. While sometimes these playlists may appear or update for others as you've mentioned, this isn’t guaranteed and can change at any time resulting in the behavior you've described.

If you still want to keep up with your friends’ music discoveries, you can follow their public playlists or share recommendations directly.

Hope this sheds some light on the matter. The Community will be here if anything else comes up.

Cheers!

Can this be repaired?

I understand the concept. However for years I have been able to follow a number of these personalized Release Radars even though they were aimed at other users. And I could check the weekly updates those RR’s. But not anymore since last week. Why has that been changed? And may I hope that Spotify will undo this change?

Hey @aenm,

Thank you for keeping in contact and for the info shared.

Taking into account that it's an expected behavior of the functionality of the Release Radar (as @Novy mentioned), we don't have additional info about this change since it shouldn't have been working that way in the past.

We appreciate your feedback regarding this. If you think other users would like this feature as well, we'd recommend posting it as an idea to "Officially support following other users' Release radar with its relevant updates" on our Ideas exchange board so it can be voted on and reach the relevant departments to eventually be taken into account.

We'd also recommend checking our guidelines before posting it to avoid any early rejections.

If anything else comes up, the Community will be here for you.
