It's currently not possible to filter out AI generated songs, however, there are other users that would like such a feature on Spotify. With this said you can add your vote to this existing Idea in order to show your support. Keep in mind that the more votes an Idea receives, the more likely it is for it to be implemented in the future. You can also subscribe to the thread in order not to miss any updates.

In the meantime, we're just a post away if you need help with anything else 🙂

They keep promising that they will look into it, but fact is they don't: they earn money which they don't have to pay.

Spotify will not do anything unless forced by some law or when they realy start to loose money.

FIX the AI slop, give us control over our own stuff.

Why is this labelled as "solved" when all you've done is say "We're putting a label on artificially generated 'music' so the consumers can decide wether or not to listen"?

Your users are openly stating that they DO NOT WANT this climate destroying, IP thieving content in their service.

It's time to either change your policy on fake artists making fake music under stolen names, or your customers will take their money to a company that doesn't disrespect them so flagrantly.

Ivelina, I bet you are AI yourself! This is no "solution." An AI filter is a solution. Or at least a flag, the same way you warn listeners about explicit lyrics. I'm really bummed about this.

This is not solved as Bertha Mae Lightning is not real and it's not labeled as AI.

This is not a solution. Nearly every song on my Discover Weekly was AI. I am livid. This is not music. This is computer fodder. Spotify has always been the one app that I would keep and never cancel. I am so upset that I may have to cancel until something is done. I can go back to downloading what I want... or find a service that has a filter on this AI garbage. Please, please, please fix this.

It’s absurd they marked this as solved when it’s clearly not; I would be embarrassed to be a support agent here. If you don’t add a way to filter out all AI songs, I’m ending my subscription this month. This is not a complex feature; you all just don’t care about the integrity of music.

Yeah, this AI generated slop needs to go. Create a new platform for it. Call it AI Slopify or something. Allow users to exclude AI Generated content from their feeds!!!

It's been so long that they've not done anything that now they're increasing the price of our subscriptions to pay for this AI slop.

I'm cancelling my payment. I considered just downgrading my subscription, but because they've put me on the plan with audiobooks despite me never asking for it, their public support for organisations such as america's immigration **bleep** and their complete lack of regard for genuine hard working artists, I'm fully cancelling my subscription.
