Why some songs will not sync?

Just came to this realization today while trying to offline sync my playlists. For some unknown reason (beyond me) if you have songs in your iTunes Library that are also in your Songs Library ( Spotify) or related playlists they will not play in the offline mode. This only occurs while using Spotify on my desktop, not on my mobile device. It maybe just one massive coincidence.

This does not make much sense?

Just to clarify here some things, are the iTunes Library songs also added to the Spotify desktop app under Local Files as well?

If you happen to click the local files, any song that is on your Spotify Library, that appears in your Itunes library, will not be available offline.

Are those Local Music files that are added in the Spotify app are they also in playlists as well?
